About uS
The business developed to become the largest repairer and rewinder of large AC and DC electric motors and generators in Victoria, employing some thirty people.
They were then appointed the Victorian Field Service Workshop for the Lincoln Electric Welding Company and in later years became one of the largest and most successful Australian sales distributors and are currently their oldest Field Service Workshop in the world.
It was in the early 1960s when they first became involved with the Cummins Onan product with the introduction of the Cummins Onan CCK 12.5 hp petrol engine, which was used to power the extremely popular 200 amp Lincoln Weldan power that was sold for many years all throughout Australia.
In 1967, Bob‘s son Rob, joined the company to manage the service workshop, supervising and training apprentices.
In 1969 Bell & Orders changed from a partnership to a registered company, Bell & Orders Pty Ltd.
Bell & Orders went on to introduce and market, sell and support the Cummins Onan Petrol engines to power a large and vast range of different rural and industrial applications until they were finally discontinued.
As they obtained more information about the unique Onan product range from the Northern American Minnesota based factory and regular visits meeting the people, they were highly impressed with the company and recognised the enormous potential and pushed to get more involvement with the sales, service and marketing distribution for Victoria.

Bell & Orders now has the third generation Wes Bell managing the business and supporting Onan customers.
